Full biography

Jo Dooley is currently the General Manager of Midmarket and Digital for IBM Australia and New Zealand – reporting to the IBM A/NZ CEO.  

Passionate about solving client business problems and working with enthusiastic and dedicated teams to create great client experiences, Jo leads an organisation of 100 professionals - including sales, marketing and operations - across Australia and New Zealand.  Rated as the #1 IBM Digital Sales unit globally in Q2 2014 (based on revenue growth and target attainment), the teams' predominant focus is on servicing 20,000+ midmarket clients via digital and social media, phone and web channels.

Prior to this role, Jo has held numerous roles across her 16 years at IBM covering Sales, Marketing, Executive leadership, Strategy and Operations. Jo is also part of the A/NZ IBM board and previously was part of the Top 100 Services executives across IBM’s growth markets unit.  Jo was appointed part of the IBM A/NZ Diversity Council in January 2002, and is a passionate advocate of diversity in the workplace and women in leadership.

Jo's built a breadth of experiences, that have included leading and driving change at a senior leadership level, developing strategy, delivering on revenue growth, building strong client relationships and building/ leading high performance teams. Jo is ardent about new technology, digital transformation and driving meaningful change to make an impact to our clients’ business results.

Prior to IBM, Jo worked at various blue chip organisations including SONY & BIG W.

On a personal note, Jo lives in Sydney and is the mother of four children and enjoys spending her time on the weekend with her family – mostly at numerous sporting fixtures across Sydney.
