Full biographyJo Dooley is currently the General Manager of MidMarket and Digital i-sales for IBM, Australia & New Zealand. In this role, Jo leads a team of 100 professionals- including sales, marketing and operations - and reports to the IBM ANZ CEO. The team focus is on servicing 20,000+ mid market clients via phone, web, and other digital channels. Jo’s successful team was was rated # 1 in Q2 2014 and # 2 in Q1 2014 globally within IBM Inside Sales division, based on yty rev growth and target attainment - across 17 other countries. The first time ever for the ANZ unit.
Prior to this role, Jo has held numerous roles across her 16 years at IBM covering Sales, Marketing, Executive leadership, Strategy & Operations. Jo is also part of the ANZ IBM board and previously was part of the Top 100 Services executives across IBM’s growth markets unit. Jo was appointed part of the IBM ANZ Diversity Council in Jan, 2002 and is a passionate advocate of diversity in the workplace and women in leadership.
Jo’s key strengths are in the area of building organisational capability and the ability to adapt team processes and structures to meet changing business needs, together with the strong ability to translate plans into action to achieve business results.
Prior to IBM, Jo worked at various blue chip organisations including SONY & BIG W.
On a personal note, Jo lives in Sydney and is the mother of four children and enjoys spending her time on the weekend with her family – mostly at numerous sporting fixtures across Sydney!
