As the HR Director for IBM Australia & New Zealand (ANZ), Kathleen works closely with the ANZ General Manager and the senior leadership team, providing end to end HR business advice and operational support. With an IBM workforce of 10,000+ employees, a key aspect of the role is to partner with the business leaders in identifying solutions to business challenges, assisting the organisation to adapt & embrace change and pro-actively identifying areas for competitive advantage from a people perspective.
As HR Director, Kathleen is also responsible for building collaborative teams across the HR Generalists, HR Integrated Service Teams and HR functional teams who provide specialist knowledge & service in areas such as recruitment, compensation, employee & industrial relations & talent development. As HR Director, Kathleen sponsors the HR function on various internal and external boards & committees, which includes being a Director for the IBM Australia Ltd Board and a member of the Australian Diversity Council.
Prior to working in HR leadership roles, Kathleen worked in within business operations for Growth Market Unit, as the Resource and Capacity Management Executive. She was responsible for leading and implementing strategies to drive workforce optimisation, demand planning and resource fulfilment across the region.
Kathleen joined IBM in 2002 as part of the PwC acquisition and has over twenty years experience in various roles across Business Consulting, Professional Services and Information Technology industries. She has completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Science with a double major in Psychology.
