Full biography
Francois is the General Manager for IBM Enterprise and Mid-market in Australia and New Zealand. In this role, Francois is responsible for delivering revenue and profit for hardware, software and services for all IBM clients bar 12 accounts in ANZ.
Francois joined IBM in 2001 and has held a number of professional and management positions in Australia and New Zealand and in IBM Growth Markets across Asia Pacific, Latin America, Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe.
Most recently, Francois was General Manager, Systems Technology Group (hardware division of IBM). Previously, Francois held the position of Director for Growth Markets IBM System Storage division. In this role, Francois was initially responsible for storage strategy and growth in Asia Pacific and expanded his remit to also manage Latin America, Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe.
Francois’ wide-ranging experience also includes appointments as Emerging and Competitive Sales Manager for IBM Australia and New Zealand’s General Business. Before joining IBM, Francois worked for various French telecommunications companies including Alcatel and Sagem.
Francois completed his Bachelor of Commerce and Business Administration at the Institut Superieur of Commerce in Paris and holds a Bachelor of Marketing. Francois and his wife Daniela live in Sydney with their two daughters.
