Full biography
Sara Watts is Chief Financial Officer for IBM Australia and New Zealand and Executive Sponsor for Corporate Responsibility. Previously, Ms Watts was Director, Internal Audit and Investigations, IBM Asia Pacific, a role that had particular focus on identifying and recommending risk mitigation strategies.
Ms Watts joined IBM in 1986 as a University graduate. In a career spanning over 20 years, she has held a wide range of senior finance roles, and has been involved in many aspects of business process management and finance process transformation.
Ms Watts is on the Board of IBM Australia Limited and a number of other subsidiary companies. She also sits on the Board of Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, a not-for-profit arts organisation.
Ms Watts holds a Bachelor of Science from The University of Sydney, a Masters in Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
