Full biography
Peter Campbell is the General Manager of Global Technology Services (GTS) for IBM Australia and New Zealand, based in Melbourne.
Peter is responsible for driving growth and profitability of the GTS business across Australia and New Zealand - and ensuring we have a motivated and talented team of professionals. Peter was appointed to this role in August 2006.
Peter has held various senior management positions in IBM’s services business. He was formerly Vice President, Small to Medium Business Sector, Asia Pacific (AP). Prior to this, he was General Manager, ITS Product Services for Asia Pacific, moving to IBM’s AP headquarters in Japan to take up this role in 2001. Between 1996 and 2001 Peter led the ITS team in Australia/New Zealand. He has also held HR and business operations roles during his career at IBM.
Peter joined IBM in 1980 as a Customer Service Representative in Melbourne. He graduated from Monash University with a Diploma of Electronic Engineering.
