Objective:
The objective of the IBM Registered Reseller Program is to broaden Reseller sales coverage in the SMB Market for a select group of System x Products called IBM Express Seller Products. Registered Resellers will purchase Express Seller Products and selected IBM Express Storage Products through IBM Authorized Distributors (Distributors) and can market them to End Users in Canada. IBM has designed a streamlined online application and approval process through your sponsoring Distributor to help you get selling quickly.
Program Details:
IBM Registered Resellers are not required to submit End User Sales information to IBM or to meet an annual revenue target. Since IBM Express Seller Products are priced to be competitive in the SMB Market, special bid pricing is not available to IBM Registered Resellers. IBM does not provide any marketing incentives to IBM Registered Resellers. As your IBM System x Sales Revenue grows we encourage you to consider becoming an Authorized Business Partner Reseller as this program offers access to a broader range of products and offerings.
The IBM Registered Reseller Program is a good fit for businesses that are:
Located in smaller markets where server sales opportunities may not support meeting a minimum IBM System x revenue target
New to the server sales business and want to establish a customer base before transitioning to the IBM Authorized Business Partner Reseller Relationship
New to selling the IBM System x product line
Not selling servers as their primary business focus but do have occasional customer situations where an IBM System x Product meets requirements
Application selection criteria
The following criteria must be met to be eligible for consideration to participate in the IBM Registered Reseller Program
Functioning Company Website
Company email address
Copies of articles of incorporation or business license upon request
Manufacturers, Brokers, Used/Surplus Computer Resellers will not normally be considered for participation in the IBM Registered Reseller Program
IBM reserves the right to consider other factors, including IBM strategic requirements, when considering an applicant. Achievement of the listed criteria does not entitle the applicant to automatic eligibility. IBM may approve or decline an applicant at its sole discretion.
