IBM Costa Rica abrió sus puertas en el 2004. Somos un Centro de Servicio de Transformación de Negocios y un Centro de Servicios Estratégicos para Tecnologías de Información. Ofrecemos servicios de recursos humanos, servicios compartidos, finanzas & administración y manejo de cadenas de suministros. Además, IBM brinda soporte en Tecnologías de la Información a nuestros clientes globalmente. Unidades de Negocio de IBM Costa Rica
IBM Costa Rica tiene tres unidades de negocio (GPS, SO Delivery y GBS) y cada una de ellas brinda servicios estratégicos.
- Global Process Services (GPS) brinda servicios en: Recursos Humanos, Finanzas & Administración, Servicios Compartidos, Servicio al Cliente, y Manejo de Cadenas de Suministro.
- Strategic Outsourcing Delivery (SO Delivery) maneja: SSO – Operaciones de Sistemas de Servidores, SM – Gerencia de Servicios, Servicios de Cloud, DT&E – Entrega, Tecnología e Ingeniería, SRM – Gerencia de Seguridad y Riesgos, IRM – Manejo de Recursos de Infraestructura, EUS –Servicios para el Usuario Final y Análisis de Negocio. Los siguientes Centros de Excelencia están planeados para Costa Rica: SM – Gerencia de Servicios, DT&E – Entrega, Tecnología e Ingeniería, RFS – Solicitudes de Servicio, Almacenamiento, AHS – Servicios de Hosting de Aplicaciones, Manejo de Información, SPMS y Manejo de Plataformas de Software.
- Global Business Services (GBS) brinda servicios como: Manejo de Recursos y Capacidad Remotos, Profesionales encargados del Manejo de Personal en Proyectos (R&CM y PSP) y el Servicio de Soporte de Operaciones.
