IBM Costa Rica opened operations in 2004. Today is a Service Business Transformation Center and a Strategic Outsourcing Delivery Center for Information Technology. We manage human resource services, shared services, customer service, finance & administration, and supply chain management. Also, IBM provides support for information technologies to our clients globally. We are looking for the best talented students and professionals who have a clear customer service orientation with a desire to develop a career within the global company. IBM is looking for graduated professionals and students in multiple areas such as Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Six Sigma or IT certified, among others. They must also manage a second language such as English, French and/or Portuguese.

IBM has three business units (GPS, SO Delivery & GBS) and each one offers strategic outsourcing services.
- Global Process Services (GPS) provides services in: Human Resources, Finance & Administration, Shared Services, Customer Relationship Management and Supply Chain Management.
- Strategic Outsourcing Delivery offers: SSO – Server Systems Operations, SM – Service Management, Cloud Services, DT&E – Delivery, Technology & Engineering, SRM – Security and Risk Management, IRM – Infrastructure Resource Management, EUS – End User Services, Engagement Services and Business Analytics. The following Centers of Excellence are planned for Costa Rica: SM – Service Management, DT&E – Delivery, Technology & Engineering, RFS – Request For Service, Storage, AHS – Application Hosting Services, Data Management, SPMS and Software Platform Management Services.
- Global Business Services provides services such as: Remote Resource and Capacity Management, Project Staffing Professional (Remote R&CM PSP) and Operational Support Center.
