- IBM WebSphere Application Server V5.0.2
- IBM Directory Server (LDAP) V5.1
- IBM DB2 Universal Database™ Enterprise Server Edition V8.1 (optional)

You can also add zSeries hardware - IFL engine(s), memory and network connectivity - for the IBM eServer zSeries 800 (z800) entry-class mainframe, the IBM eServer zSeries 900 (z900) or the newly-introduced IBM eServer zSeries (z990).
