To complement the existing systems, IBM designed and implements a virtualisation solution over geographically dispersed sites. By virtualising them as one during the tournament, they easily handle the huge peaks in traffic.

In 2008, rolandgarros.com recorded 35 million visits, an increase of 31% compared to 2007.
