Our approach

Innovation Discovery is a conversation

In a variety of virtual and face-to-face sessions, we work together--your team and ours, the business and the technical--to explore topics and challenges of interest. We discuss, think and plan, starting by identifying mutually beneficial growth opportunities and moving ahead with actions to take. Whatever direction we decide to pursue, collaboration sets us on a more secure path.

Discuss exploration We examine our strengths, needs and challenges. We see each other and our alliance in a new light. We learn about and from each other. During this first phase, we:
  • Determine business needs and strategic priorities
  • Understand innovation capabilities
  • Secure sponsorship and commitment

Plan exploration We find common areas to explore and focus on what's important as we discover opportunities for collaboration. To prepare, we:
  • Identify appropriate exploration topics
  • Plan engagement and collaborative working sessions

Joint exploration We engage in collaborative working sessions to identify ways to work together and discuss innovation plans. As we come together, we:
  • Facilitate collaborative working sessions
  • Identify insights and new growth opportunities
  • Determine joint path forward

Determine outcome paths We evaluate the potential of new opportunities and set priorities. As we identify action plans with which to move forward, we:
  • Clarify business potential of new growth opportunities
  • Layout joint development roles and responsibilities

Support outcome paths We commit to the development and work toward the success of the new growth opportunities we have identified. As we move forward with our plans, we:
  • Coach outcome teams on innovation methodology
  • Enable teams to navigate innovation challenges as they arise
