Educators continue to look at technology as a way to bring new learning opportunities to their classrooms. At the IBM K-12 Education Division we are committed to providing technology solutions to that will help educators enhance learning. To do this we are focusing on key areas which include:

• Effective and engaging educational software and "learnware"
• Instructional management systems to reduce teacher workload associated with individualized lesson plans
• Practical and affordable models of integration
• Staff development
• Mobile technology and laptops
• Web-based portals

Educators tell us these are their priorities with respect to educational technology. So we are enhancing our capabilities in each of these areas. We are also constantly looking for new ways to help educators in these areas through innovative, long-term partnerships.
