Renewing your membership
The membership renewal process differs slightly, depending on whether you are a faculty member of an accredited school or an IBM employee.
If you are a renewing member of a standards organization, contact ibmswed@us.ibm.com for renewal information.
Faculty
If you are a renewing faculty member or graduate assistant who continues to teach or do research at an accredited university, college, or high school, you will be prompted to update your membership information and to describe how you are using the Academic Initiative offerings. The Academic Initiative renewal form for faculty is available in multiple languages.
IBM employees (including supplementals and contractors)
If you are a renewing IBM employee who continues to support the IBM Academic Initiative as part of your job, you will be prompted to update your membership information and to describe how you continue to support Academic Initiative offerings.
