Karen Woelfle-Potter works with executives and operational teams to help them build consultative, communication, teaming and leadership skills to more effectively bring value to their clients and organizations.
Ms. Woelfe-Potter is a Senior Consulting Faculty member with more than 25 years of business, consulting and IT experience. She has worked successfully with clients in North and South America, Europe and Asia in her specialty areas of high performance teaming, communication, coaching and negotiation.
Prior to joining EBI, she was a Certified Senior Consultant in IBM Global Services, working in process and organization change, business analysis and facilitation in the U.S., Mexico and South America. Her clients came from banking, insurance, retail and advertising. Her native language is English and she is fluent in Spanish.
In addition to her training expertise in face-to-face and virtual venues, Ms. Woelfle-Potter has also been called upon, as a subject matter expert, to help in the development of numerous curriculum projects.
She is a certified trainer in negotiation, coaching and creativity. She is accredited by Creative Problem Solving Group of Buffalo to administer the VIEW creative problem-solving styles assessment and the Situational Outlook Questionnaire (SOQ) innovation climate assessment. She completed cross-cultural competency training with the Institute for Training in Intercultural Management (ITIM) Americas.
Ms. Woelfle-Potter has completed basic and advanced courses in negotiation and mediation training at the Harvard Law School Summer Program and has taken organizational change training with Organizational Dynamics Resources (ODR), Inc. in Atlanta. As an adjunct instructor, she has taught Critical Thinking and Decision-Making at the University of Phoenix.
She earned her MBA from Marquette University in Wisconsin and her BS in Management and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.
