Managing, directing and inspiring – from a distance

Leading from afar creates new challenges because the normal cues, controls and opportunities for influence don’t exist. And yet, the demands on leaders are not reduced.

Remote Leadership is a practical, how-to course that focuses on the specific skill sets needed to be an effective virtual leader. Course work includes exploring the social aspects of online interactions, understanding the unique situations of dispersed team members, applying technology creatively for the purpose of enabling teams to work effectively and collaboratively, and establishing policies that support respect and communications between remote team members.
