While many women have contributed to both IBM and the information technology industry, a notable few have been honored by their peers both inside and outside the company for the significance of their work.
- IBM Women in WITI Hall of Fame
A premiere award for women in science and technology worldwide, the WITI Hall of Fame was launched in 1996 to recognize, honor, and promote the outstanding contributions women make to the scientific and technological communities and society at large.
- IBM Women Fellows
The IBM Fellow Program is intended to recognize outstanding IBM employees who have distinguished and sustained records of technical achievement. IBM Fellows are appointed by our Chief Executive Officer at the annual Corporate Technical Recognition Event (CTRE) and are recognized technical leaders within their community. Appointment as an IBM Fellow is a career designation.
