IBM opened its first office in Singapore in 1952 and initially employed three people there to handle the company's local electric typewriter and time equipment business. In 1973, IBM moved to more modern quarters in Shing Kwan House and 13 years after that, relocated to IBM Place. IBM Singapore Pte.
