At the time this photograph was taken -- 1933 -- the Dayton Scale Company had just become an IBM division. Some of its manufacturing employees are seen here assembling scales in the division's factory in Dayton, Ohio. One year later, the division was sold to the Hobart Manufacturing Company. (VV2153)
