IBM 5022 disk module
 
The IBM 5022, which debuted on July 14, 1971, greatly expanded the data storage capacity of the rugged IBM System/7. As shown, the disk module was housed within a System/7. It contained either one fixed disk or a fixed disk and a removable disk cartridge on a single drive. The unit was offered with capacities of 1.23 million or 2.46 million 16-bit words.
