The IBM Personal Computer offered a complete,
affordable business system for office use. Operating
at speeds measured in millionths of a second, it
could generate and display charts, graphs, text
and numerical information. Business applications
-- including accounting and word processing -- could
be run on the same system with applications used
for personal finance and home entertainment.
