Introduced in 1960, the 1410 used punched cards, magnetic tape or magnetic disks for data storage and input/output. This "white room" product publicity image shows the 1410 Data Processing Tape System which used IBM 729 or 7330 Magnetic Tape Units to provide increased data input and output speeds.
