Verea Direct Multiplier

Devised by Raymon Verea (1838-1899), a Spanish resident of New York City, this is believed to be the first direct multiplier. This machine is part of the IBM Collection of historical calculating devices begun by Thomas J. Watson, Sr., in the 1930s.
