System/360 Model 75 Console

On April 7, 1964, IBM announced one of the most important product lines in its history: the System/360, a new concept in IBM computers. System/360 encompassed small to large machines that incorporated IBM-designed Solid Logic technology microelectronics and all used the same programming instructions. Introduced a year later, the System/360 Model 75's main memory operated at 750 nanoseconds and was available in three sizes up to 1,048,576 characters of information.
