Annual meeting

   
 

The Academy's three-day Annual Meeting is held in October of each year - and is attended by the Academy members, non-member guests nominated by the membership, Academy affiliate leaders, the Academy Board of Governors, and other senior IBM executives. The meeting currently hosts approximately 350 attendees. Highlights include a keynote by the IBM chairman and CEO, and talks from internal and external technical experts and IBM clients. These talks outline the challenges facing our business including areas where the Academy can help IBM deal with those challenges.

The Annual Meeting also includes presentations and discussions on technical agenda activities completed during the previous year, and the development of proposals for the coming year's technical agenda. Poster sessions presented by new members, guests, and Academy affiliate leaders facilitate interaction and discussion with attendees.

The Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for networking, enabling technical leaders from across the company to meet, interact, and exchange views and ideas with their colleagues, senior executives, and guests.
