Use this cost-effective option to quickly, easily and affordably get IBM's powerful new technology
- Available to clients who want to migrate to select IBM System i or System p servers or lease them from IBM Global Financing.
- Offers market value credit for your current server to migrate to select Power Systems servers. We will offer market value credit for cross band or even Sun or HP when migrating to select Power systems server.
- Enables you to upgrade your system so you can use the growing array of new peripherals that require the faster Power Systems processor.
- Full one year warranty on equipment.
- Clients can use both servers for side-by-side installation and testing. The customer can choose date of return. (Will impact on the market value credit offered.)
For owned systems, the credit you receive will be based on the market value established by IBM Global Financing or the type of IBM Global Financing lease for the currently leased servers.
The Power Systems server provided by the IBM Power Systems Exchange offering comes with the same warranty as an equivalently configured new Power Systems server. The IBM Power Systems Exchange allows you to perform side-by-side migration before your current system needs to be returned to IBM Global Financing.
