Finance options Offerings & promotions
IBM Global Financing can make it attractive to finance the other components of a technology acquisition, such as maintenance, education, software and services, over the full life of your facility.

Finance is available for between two and five years and generally no deposit is required.

Fair Market Value Lease (FMV)
  • Applicable to Hardware
  • For customers who forsee rapid growth or change in IT requirements
  • End of lease options include purchase of assets at the then FMV of the equipment, renew the lease, or return assets to IBM
  • IBM retains ownership of the asset during the lease term
  • Provides lowest total payment over the duration of the lease

Full Payout Lease (FPL)
  • Applicable to Hardware
  • For customers with longer term use expectations than lease term, and/or the desire to retain asset at end of lease
  • End of lease options include buyout at nominal value, renew the lease, or return assets to IBM
  • IBM retains ownership of the asset during the lease term

Loan Financing
  • Applicable to Hardware, Software and Services, applicable in selected countries only
  • For customers who wish to own their equipment outright, or who wish to spread the software and services costs over the full life of the project

SystemXtra
  • Customized offering for PCs and System x products over a 36 month term
  • Fair Market Value lease providing customers with more flexibility and control
  • Particularly suited to customers who require frequent technology upgrades, or who have unpredictable technology requirements
  • Pre-stated exchange option in mid-lease and end-of-lease reduces the exposure to asset ownership and technology obsolescence. Customers can opt to have step-down payments mid-lease, or continue flat payments
  • Applicable to selected countries only, pls check with local IBM Global Financing rep

Sale and leaseback financing

Sale and leaseback allows you to sell your equipment - and transfer the title of ownership - to IBM Global Financing for the fair market value of the assets. You then lease the equipment back at regular, low monthly payments over a flexible payment period.

The cash or credit you receive can be used to acquire new equipment, or can be applied to your monthly payments or be used as you see fit.

Lease payments can be tailored to suit the customer's specific budgetary or cash flow constraints such as deferred payment, step-up / step-down payments, or flat payment on a monthly/quarterly basis.
