Before you start working at IBM, review this section carefully. Use the prestart checklist to ensure that you are prepared to complete the required forms you will receive on your first day.

Business Conduct Guidelines
You should read the IBM Business Conduct Guidelines (BCGs) before your start date. The Business Conduct Guidelines apply to all IBM employees. On your start date you will be required to confirm that you will comply with the BCGs.

This checklist will help you gather the information you'll need on your first day. If you have questions, contact your recruiter.

First-day start forms

You will need to complete the forms listed below on your first day at IBM. Be sure you're prepared to complete them correctly. For example, the I-9 form provides proof of identity and work eligibility. Correct completion of this form is a federal requirement and is mandatory for all employees.

Identification documentation must be provided for IBM's review and copying. You will not be processed into IBM if you fail to provide the acceptable documentation. You can view lists of document types that are acceptable on the last page of the I-9 form listed below.
