Overview
Project View is an Affirmative Action Program hosted by IBM. Its purpose is to introduce underrepresented minority students with hardware, software and business backgrounds to a variety of national employment opportunities within IBM. This program is hosted by IBM HR-USA and is attended by managers who have available job opportunities. Project View provides students with the opportunity to visit IBM locations, obtain information about IBM organizations with job opportunities, and interview for the available positions.

Participation
IBM's goal is to have 75 students and 35 IBM managers participate in each Project View. Student participation is by invitation only. Participation of divisions within IBM is determined by the number of available positions within the division.

Program Schedule
Day 1:

  • Managers and students arrive throughout the day
  • Dinner held for participants to get acquainted
  • Information/Technology Career Fair
  • IBM Keynote Speaker (Executive)

Day 2:

  • IBM Overview
  • Interviews conducted throughout the day, with offers extended as appropriate

To be considered for participation, all candidates must submit their resume on-line http://www.ibm.com/employment as well as send a softcopy to projview@us.ibm.com. Participation in Project View is open to graduating seniors in both BS, MS, and Ph.D. programs.
