Employment Pathways for Interns and Co-Ops (EPIC)

Curious about interesting and impactful work? Perhaps gaining real world work experience? What about being a part of a large student community with hundreds of other students during your work term?

The EPIC program at IBM is designed to help you build your skills and familiarize you with IBM's organization and work style. It also provides you a chance to take IBM for a test drive! The IBM EPIC work experience will provide you with a competitive edge when you enter the workforce as a new graduate, and immerse you in a highly innovative environment filled with some of the brightest and smartest people in the world.

During your work term you can expect the following:

   - Interesting and REAL work!

   - Very competitive wages

   - A flexible work environment

   - Casual dress code (for software lab employees only)

   - Training and development opportunities

   - To be a member of the Future Blue student community and participate in various career      development and social events!

To qualify for student opportunities, applicants must be enrolled at an accredited University or College pursuing a diploma or bachelor/post grad degree. Students must be returning to school after their work term placement to be qualified for a student position. We hire students for 4, 8, 12 and 16 month work terms (depending on the type of student placement), which start in January, May, or September.

Please note:

If you are applying for a co-op position, IBM will require a co-op work permit with all the backup documentation.
If you are applying for an internship position, IBM will require an internship work permit with all the backup documentation.
If you are using an off-campus work permit, you must be on a school scheduled break, ie. summer break and not a student initiated break
Please ensure that you discuss student work permits with your co-op or internship office to determine which is appropriate for you. Current work permits must be in place before applying to IBM.

See your school's co-op or internship office to confirm your eligibility for the IBM EPIC program.
