If you are knowledgeable with DB2 10.1 and are capable of performing the intermediate to advanced skills required in the day-to-day administration of DB2 instances and databases, you may benefit from this certification role.
Section 1 - DB2 Server Management (10%)

Section 2 - Physical Design (26%)

Section 3 - Business Rules Implementation (8.5%)

Section 4 - Monitoring DB2 Activity (10%)
- Demonstrate the ability to use Admin views and SQL functions for monitoring
- Knowledge of Work Load Manager monitoring features
- Demonstrate the ability to use additional auto-monitoring tools
- Demonstrate the ability to identify the functions of Problem Determination Tools
- Demonstrate the ability to capture and analyze EXPLAIN/VISUAL EXPLAIN information
Section 5 - Utilities (14%)
- Demonstrate the ability to use traditional data movement utilities

Section 6 - High Availability (10%)

- Demonstrate the ability to perform database-level and table space level backup and recovery operations
- Demonstrate the ability to configure and manage HADR (read from standby)
- Demonstrate knowledge of DB2 pureScale (HA features only)
