Test 000-186: IBM Business Process Manager Express or Standard Edition V7.5.1 BPM Application Development

The test consists of six sections containing a total of 50 multiple-choice questions. The percentages after each section title reflect the approximate distribution of the total question set across the sections. 

Section 1 - Development of executable Business Process Diagram (24%)

1. Examine business requirements and convert them into an executable Business Process Definition (BPD).
2. Implement Custom Routing and Routing Policies.
3. Create complex interactions and multi instance loops.
4. Model and construct event types.
5. Examine gateways and troubleshoot them.
6. Expose processes and services.

Section 2 - Development and use of the complex Business Object Model (10%)

1. Develop a solution architecture.
2. Compare business data with process data.
3. Develop and track business data.
4. Capture data and provide solutions for process metric visibility.

Section 3 - Development of Services (32%)

1. Use the appropriate Application Programming Interface (API) (ie., REST, JavaScript, web service) in process artifacts.
2. Build Human services.
3. Build Decision services.
4. Build General System services.
5. Build Integration services (ie., web services, SOAP, SQL, Java).
6. Use Under Cover Agent (UCA) in a process application.
7. Define and implement error handling.
8. Construct reusable, decoupled services.

Section 4 - Development of Advanced Coaches (16%)

1. Apply out-of-the-box and custom controls and attributes to coaches.
2. Implement advanced rich User Interface (UI) (e.g., dojo, jquery and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) ).
3. Create reports, scoreboards and custom dashboards from process and Performance Data Warehouse.
4. Troubleshoot, identify and address unacceptable coach response time and behavior.

Section 5 - Playback Methodology (12%)

1. Differentiate BPM terminology and the benefits of the BPM methodology from other methodologies.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of Analytical and Executable modeling.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of the iterative development approach.
4. Prepare and perform a playback.
