Test C4040-120: Associate: IBM i 7.1 Administration
These courses, one of which is available through IBM Training and the other only through IBM's Academic Initiative, will help you gain the skill and product knowledge which is represented in the test objectives. Additionally, consideration has been given to those job role skills most desired by potential employers.
Typical IBM certification tests presume a certain amount of "on-the-job" experience which is not present in any classroom or Web presentation. This Certified Associate Administrator exam, however, derives all its questions and answers from the listed courses and the reference material (F1 in-line help text, InfoCenter, Fix Central, etc.) discussed in them. Instructors may or may not choose to use the selected course material, or portions of it, when creating and teaching their classes. Therefore, no test candidate should presume that any course they attend will address every question they will see in the exam, nor that by attending any course they will achieve certification.
