This certification credential enables information management professionals and line of business staff to prove their competency in designing and implementing document management solutions using IBM's DB2 Document Manager technology to:
- Solve the critical business issue of automating the complete lifecycle of business documents
- Create and deploy appropriate document management user interfaces to groups with diverse requirements and skill levels
The certified individual should be able to perform high level design and requirements gathering, install and configure Document Manager, troubleshoot problems, perform design configuration, handle a variety of clients, integrate applications, and take advantage of additional services provided by Document Manager.

Learn about the configuration and administration of the Document Manager (DM) V8 Services Manager. Learn to use the services life cycle, rendition, notification, and automation through a series of hands-on labs in a Windows 2000 Server computing environment
In this intensive hands-on workshop, complete the implementation of a relatively complete Document Management system with full life-cycle processes, learning how to exploit the system services features of the product to enhance the overall functionality of the application. Given a detailed business case scenario (project management) and the associated requirements analysis and detailed design for the system modifications, implement these new requirements in the labs throughout the duration of the course.
This is an advanced course for individuals who implement or maintain an IBM DB2 DM system.
