Abstract: This 3-day course introduces IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler 8.5 features, environment, and terminology.
You will learn about the new features in Tivoli Workload Scheduler 8.5 and how to use the IBM Tivoli Dynamic Workload Console to manage Tivoli Workload Scheduler. You will learn how to plan, implement, monitor, and manage Tivoli Workload Scheduler objects to create a production day plan.
Job and job stream instances are designed using recovery options, dependencies, prompts, and other plan objects. You will manage changes to objects, the plan, jobs, and job streams, and you will learn how to optimize plans and troubleshoot plan problems.
Training occurs in a classroom environment (or online in an instructor-led format) with hands-on labs to reinforce concepts through production scenarios.
