VAE Name: High Availability Backup Recovery

Eligible Products:

• Power servers—All models
• System i—All models
• System p—All models
• MES model/processor upgrades

Minimum VAE Solution requirements:

• Sale, installation, and implementation of an eligible IBM product to be used as a backup system, that must include at least one IBM-approved high availability backup, recovery, replication or storage management solution
• Refer to the Operations Library of the BPLibrary for IBM-approved solutions by product. Solutions not included in the BPLibrary list require prior approval by IBM.

Minimum Firm Eligibility Requirements:

• Marketing marketing rights from or selected by the ISV to jointly market
• Certification required: Yes, at the firm level for each of the following solutions approved on your profile


IBM — HACMP — the following:
• IBM eServer Certified Systems Expert — pSeries HACMP for AIX 5L or later


IBM — Tivoli Storage Manager — one of the following:
• IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Tivoli Storage Manager V5.4 or later
• IBM Certified Advanced Deployment Professional - Tivoli Storage Management Solutions 2007 or later
