VAE Name: SAN Solution

Eligible products:

• Power servers—All models
• System i—All models
• System p—All models
• MES model/processor upgrades

Minimum VAE Solution Requirements:

• Sale, installation and implementation of an eligible IBM product at a customer establishment.
• Perform custom services for a SAN Solution that must include three of the following:


- Backup and recovery
- Data sharing
- Disaster tolerance/Business continuance
- Enterprise management
- Storage connectivity
- Storage consolidation

Minimum Firm Eligibility Requirements:

• Certification requirements — at the firm level:



One of the following:

• IBM Certified Specialist - High End Disk Solutions, Version 5 or later
• IBM Certified Specialist - High-End Disk for Mainframe Version 6 or later
• IBM Certified Specialist - High-End Disk for Open Systems Version 1 or later
  
  AND
   
• IBM Certified Specialist - Storage Networking Solutions Version 3 or later
