Professional Certification Program from IBM (www.ibm.com/certify).
This certification is available worldwide today, October 9, 2009. By achieving this certification, intermediate level
solution developers have validated their knowledge and skills, and can demonstrate their technical competence to others.

This intermediate level certification is intended for system administrators that perform the
installation, configuration and day-to-day tasks associated with ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of
the WebSphere Process Server runtime environment. This includes product installation, configuration and deployment
of business processes and adapters, connecting to back-end resources and basic troubleshooting. These individuals
tune the WebSphere Process Server runtime environment with respect to resource utilization, scaling, clustering
and load balancing as appropriate. These individuals also have a good grasp on fundamentals of Service-Oriented
Architecture (SOA) and are able to articulate business and technical values of SOA, identify the barriers to
adopting SOA in their organization, can participate in crafting and enforcing SOA governance and help bridge the
gap between business and technical teams.
This deployment professional is generally self-sufficient and is able to perform most of the tasks involved in the
role with limited assistance from peers, product documentation and vendor support services.

To attain the certification credential, candidates must pass 3 tests: Test 000-375 plus (Test 000-253
or 000-806) plus (Test 000-667 or 000-669).

Tests 000-375, 000-253, 000-806 are also available to IBM employees at a reduced rate via the IBM SWG Prime Test Centers,
and IBMers can obtain test registration information via
certify@us.ibm.com.
NEW Test 000-375 is a 90 minute test. The test fee is set to the economy of a country as $200 USD each in
developed countries and $100 USD each in emerging market countries. The test delivery vendor can verify the specific test fee
within each country.
