IBM is pleased to announce the addition of the following job-role certification and applicable test to the
Professional Certification Program from IBM (www.ibm.com/certify).
This certification is available worldwide today, July 24, 2009. By achieving this certification, intermediate level
business analysts have validated their knowledge and skills, and can demonstrate their technical competence to
others.
IBM Certified Business Process Analyst - WebSphere Business Modeler Advanced V6.2
Test 000-372, IBM WebSphere Business Modeler Advanced V6.2, Business Analysis and Design
This intermediate level certification is intended for business analysts who design, analyze, and
test business process models. These professionals can translate functional business requirements into business
process models throughout the entire life cycle of the modeling project. They perform organization and resource
modeling, analyze processes in a variety of dimensions, build accurate and realistic simulations, create reports,
and identify business measures to address productivity and performance management.
This certification applies to business analysts who use IBM WebSphere Business Modeler Advanced V6.2 for process
modeling, analysis, simulation, reporting, and business measures definition. These business analysts should also have
a general understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) and how business modeling fits into the overall BPM
life cycle.
It is expected that these business analysts be self-sufficient and be able to perform the job-related tasks
independently, with limited assistance from peers, product documentation and support services.
To attain the certification credential, candidates must pass 1 test: Test 000-372.

IBM Certified Business Process Analyst - WebSphere Business Modeler Advanced V6.2:
- job role description/target audience to which the test is built
- test objectives or detailed skills measured on the test
- test preparation / training resources used to prepare based on the test objectives
- assessment test to gauge ones readiness for the actual test
Test 000-372 is available via test delivery vendor
 Prometric.
Test 000-372 is also available to IBM employees at a reduced rate via the IBM SWG Prime
Test Centers, and IBMers can obtain test registration information via
certify@us.ibm.com.
Test 000-372 is a 120 minute test. The test fee is set to the economy of a country as $200 USD each in
developed countries and $100 USD each in emerging market countries. The test delivery vendor can verify the specific test
fee within each country.
