Certification Testing @ IBM IMPACT 2009

IBM is pleased to announce that the Software certification tests will be available
at IBM IMPACT 2009, held May 3-8, 2009 in Las Vegas, USA
Pending seat availability, registered conference attendees can take one or multiple Software
certification tests listed on the Test Information by product Web page.
The hours of operation and test fee information is as follows.

Notes:
- Regular 2009 SWG test fee in developed/major countries is $200.
$100 test fee represents a 50% discount.

It is strongly recommended that you prepare for the test(s) before the conference.
To do so, per applicable test, on the Test Information by product Web page,
open the applicable Certification Title and refer to:
- job role / target audience - to which the test is built
- recommended prerequisites skills - knowledge and skills needed before preparing
- test objectives - skills measured on the test
- test preparation / training resources - to prepare based on the test objectives
- assessment test - to gauge one's readiness for the actual test
Notes:
- The same test may be taken only twice in a 30 day period. Both attempts can be at this event.
- For each test, test takers are required to sign-in to take the test, and show
their conference badge, and one ID with photo and signature.
- Previous IBM test takers, need to bring their certification testing ID #.
- Tests are closed-book, and computer-based, containing multiple-choice questions. They
are delivered in a proctored environment via Prime, a password protected, web-based tool.
