Test M156: IBM Cognos Foundational Sales Mastery Test

Overview Objectives Test Preparation

Upon completion of the IBM Cognos educational material, you are eligible to take the IBM Cognos Foundational  Sales Mastery Test to become an IBM Cognos Foundational Sales Professional*.  
You are allowed two attempts to pass a sales mastery test.  After 2 failed attempts, you must wait three months before taking the test again.  Please see FAQs (link is at the bottom of the page).

*Passing this test meets the Trained Sales Resources criteria for joining IBM Software ValueNet for Cognos as either a Value-Added Reseller or Solution Provider.  It also counts towards your PartnerWorld sales skill criteria for Premier and Advanced membership levels.

  • Time allowed in minutes: 90
  • Required passing score: 70%
  • Test languages: English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese

Your sales training should not end here. IBM encourages you to deepen your sales skills by attending additional seminars, teleconferences, self-paced study, etc. Refer back to the Information Management sales training path or visit the IBM PartnerWorld Web site - Training and certification.
You have two chances to pass a sales mastery test. If you do not pass, you may not take the same test again until six months have passed.  Please review FAQs - link is at the bottom of this page.

IMPORTANT: After you pass a test, be sure to add your Prometric Candidate ID to your company's PartnerWorld profile! You will receive an e-mail from results@prometric.com  after the test which will provide your Prometric Candidate ID.
