Upon completion of the recommended test preparation materials, you are ready to take the software sales mastery test.

This exam validates core selling skills on the Watson Customer Engagement platform, with focus on the Watson Marketing solution category.


This individual has a solid understanding of information covered in course-work & learning materials associated with the IBM product, solution, or technology studied.  They are able to demonstrate a mastery of the entire scope of educational material as they represent the IBM product, solution or technology at a sufficiently level to close sales in a dynamically changing marketplace.


For each solution area identified on the Objectives tab, the following sales topics are covered: 

  • "The Story" or solution overview
  • Key buyers and users
  • Competitive landscape
  • Opportunity identification

* Passing this test counts towards PartnerWorld competency requirements and helps you attain higher membership levels. It also meets the sales skill criteria for the Channel Value Rewards (CVR) program.  This test also entitles you to use the mastery qualification title on your business card.
