This certification targets intermediate level developers.

This certification involves a stand-alone intermediate level test. It is intended for developers with Web development experience using IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software V6.0.

These Application Developers design, develop, debug, profile, and deploy J2EE Web applications and Java applications. The applications may include HTML, Servlets, JavaServer Pages, JSPs, and EJBs. The applications may also make use of Web Services and JDBC technology.

The Application Developer applies sound object-oriented analysis and design techniques and exhibits proficiency in the use of the Java language.

To attain the IBM Certified Application Developer - Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software V6.0 certification, candidates must pass 1 test.
