1. IBM Rational certification tests are available exclusively from Prometric Testing Centers and can be found under IBM testing on the Prometric website. Signing up for a test is as easy as 1-2-3.
Under Step 1: Select your area of study: Choose "both"
Under Step 2: Select your Testing Program: Choose IBM
Under Step 3: Select your region: Choose your country and follow the directions to locate your Test Site.
IBM Rational tests are numbered 000-630 to 000-645.
2. The fee per certification test is set to the economy of a country. Your test registration center can give you the fee of a particular test.
3. All certification tests are time limited, multiple-choice, computerized tests. When you take a test, your results are immediately calculated and you are given an Examination Score Report before you leave the testing room. Your test results and demographic data are automatically sent from Prometric to IBM for processing. When you have taken all the required tests for a particular certificate, an ecopy of your certificate will be sent to you and a hardcopy certificate will follow in a few weeks.
Note: You must create a Prometric ID number to take a test at the Test Center. If you have already taken tests either in the Prometric online or a Prometric test center environment, please use the same Prometric ID number to take all future tests to enable us to track your test records. If you do not use the same Prometric ID number then all your test records may not be visible in your PartnerWorld profile.
