The Planning Solution Expert (Professional) is responsible to analyze, plan, design, deploy, and operate effective and user-friendly Analyst models and Contributor applications, and integrate Cognos 8 Planning with Cognos 8 BI.

To achieve the IBM Certified Solution Expert - Cognos 8 Planning certification, candidates must possess the skills identified under Recommended Prerequisite Skills, if any, and pass two (2) exam.

Recommended Prerequisite Skills

Prior to your preparation for this professional-level certification, the following knowledge and skills are recommended and assumed:
  • Knowledge of the Cognos Planning Solutions Implementation Methodology
  • Technical proficiency in features of Cognos 8 Planning

    2. Test CP0-110 - Cognos 8 Planning Application Developer and Administrator

    4. Test COG-400 - IBM Cognos 8 Planning Application Consultant
  2. Any 1 of the following tests:
    1. Test CP0-210 - Cognos 8 Planning Professional
    2. Test FPM-500 - IBM Cognos 8 Planning Professional
    3. Test COG-480 - IBM Cognos 8 Planning Professional
