Job Role Description / Target Audience
This certification targets Software Engineers, but may also target Project Managers and Technical Leads, Software-level system Engineers and anyone involved in the specification of and architectural analysis and design of software intensive embedded and/or real-time systems.
This certification involves a stand-alone intermediate level test. It is intended for software engineers with experience using Telelogic Rhapsody in C++.
These Software Engineers analyze, design, build and test software intensive embedded and/or real-time systems. These systems may include embedded and/or real-time systems in the Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Transportation, Telecom, Consumer Electronics, Medical, or any industry creating software intensive embedded and/or real-time systems.
The Software Engineer applies Model-Driven Development techniques using UML 2 and exhibits proficiency in the use of the C++ language.
To attain the IBM Certified Solution Designer - Rhapsody in C++ for Software Engineer certification, candidates must pass 1 test.

- Familiarity with the Test Objectives for IBM Test # 000-048 - Rhapsody in C++
