An IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Tivoli Business Service Manager V6.1 is a technical professional responsible for the planning, installing, configuring, administering, performance tuning, problem determination and documenting of solutions for IBM Tivoli Business Service Manager V6.1. This individual will be expected to perform these tasks with limited assistance from peers, product documentation, and support resources.

  • Describe the IBM Tivoli Business Service Manager V6.1 architecture and components. 
  • Plan and design an IBM Tivoli Business Service Manager V6.1 solution based on customer requirements/environment.
  • Install and configure prerequisites to IBM Tivoli Business Service Manager V6.1.
  • Install and configure IBM Tivoli Business Service Manager V6.1 infrastructure and integrations.
  • Use various interfaces to configure and administer the IBM Tivoli Business Service Manager V6.1 environment.

  • Knowledge of Cognos and Tivoli Common Reporting - Skill Level 1
  • Knowledge of IBM Tivoli Monitoring and Event Integration Facility (EIF) - Skill Level 2
  • Knowledge of external authentication using OMNIbus and/or LDAP - Skill Level 2
  • Knowledge of eWAS Security (user roles and access) - Skill Level 1
  • Knowledge of Tivoli Integrated Portal (TIP)- Skill Level 2
  • Knowledge of DB2- Skill Level 2

2 - Working Skill/Knowledge: Working knowledge of functionality and concepts, can use product or explain concepts with little or no assistance.

4 - Expert Skill/Knowledge: Extensive and comprehensive experience with functionality or concepts, can create or customize code, architecture, or processes.
