- Assess requirements and create a solution design.
- Describe business/technical advantages of IBM Tivoli security solutions.
- Apply security concepts to the solution design.
- Recommend education opportunities to customer based on the IBM Tivoli security solution.
- Supply a transition document to interested parties.
- Align the security solution with the architectural framework of the customer.
Recommended Prerequisite Skills: - Knowledge of IT security services (authorization, authentication, confidentiality, data integrity, non-repudiation). - Skill Level 2
- Knowledge of IT process model (i.e. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)). - Skill Level 2
- Knowledge of IT security standards (government and civil), regulations, and certifications (PKI, SSL, SAML, Liberty, etc.). - Skill Level 2
- Knowledge of IT professional security certifications such as CISSP. - Skill Level 1
- Knowledge of IT directory/LDAP functionality. - Skill Level 2
- Familiarity with key IBM Tivoli Partner security products (PKI - VeriSign etc.). - Skill Level 1

- Conceptual knowledge of networking environments, operating systems, relational databases, application environments (Java, .NET, etc.), key vendor environments (SAP, Siebel, PeopleSoft, etc.). - Skill Level 2
- Capability to assess and analyze security maturity according to IBM terminology (based on an IBM security solution). - Skill Level 2
