An IBM Certified Deployment Professional is a technical
professional responsible for planning, installation, configuration, data
management, troubleshooting, rollout to production, maintenance, and upgrade of
an IBM Tivoli Identity Manager V4.6 solution. This individual will be expected
to perform these tasks with limited assistance from peers, product
documentation, and support
resources.
To attain
the IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Tivoli
Identity Manager V4.6 certification, candidates must
pass 1 test.

- Performing basic installation and updates of the
prerequisite databases (DB2, Oracle and SQL Server) and LDAP directory servers
(IBM Tivoli Directory Server and SunOne Server)
- Performing installation and updates of single server and clustered install of
WebSphere Application Server
- System administration
skills including working knowledge of account management
- Understanding of the IBM Tivoli Identity Manager V4.6 architecture and
components
- Experience installing and configuring IBM
Tivoli Identity Manager V4.6
- Understanding of basic
system architecture design
- Knowledge of operating
systems
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, XML,
DSML
- Working knowledge of LDAP and LDAP
expressions
- Working knowledge of IBM Tivoli Directory
Integrator
- Basic security concepts (encryption using
keys, SSL, HTTPS)

- Working
