An IBM Certified Administrator - Tivoli Netcool/Proviso V4.4.1 is an experienced administrator for the IBM Tivoli Netcool/Proviso V4.4.1 solution. This individual has extensive knowledge and experience of Proviso, specifically of the features and functionality in the IBM Tivoli Netcool/Proviso V4.4.1 release. This administrator is capable of performing the intermediate to advanced tasks related to basic Proviso installation skills, daily management and operation, system configuration, security, performance, installation and upgrade configuration, and/or problem determination.

Candidates MUST have sufficient training and experience to be tested on Proviso. The following qualifications are requirements for success: - In depth understanding and knowledge of IBM Tivoli Netcool/Proviso V4.4.1
- Hands-on experience administering an IBM Tivoli Netcool/Proviso V4.4.1 environment
- Basic operating systems knowledge
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN, SAN, WAN)
- Basic storage device knowledge (disk, tape, NAS, etc.)
- Basic hardware knowledge (server, CPU, memory, etc.)
- Intermediate problem determination skill
- Intermediate knowledge of SNMP (Mib tables, RFCs vs Proprietary mibs)
- AIX or Solaris administrator skills
- Basic Oracle skills
