V8.3 is a technical professional responsible for planning, installing,
configuring, customizing, troubleshooting, documenting, and transferring skills
for an IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler V8.3 solution in a heterogeneous
distributed (non z/OS) environment. This individual will be expected to perform
these tasks with limited assistance from peers, product documentation, and
support resources.
To attain
the IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Tivoli
Workload Scheduler V8.3 certification, candidates
must pass 1 test.

- Assess customer's architecture and solution
design documentation.
- Analyze the deployment
environment.
- Assist in project plan
development.
- Perform basic diagnosis and isolate issues
with the various components of Tivoli Workload Scheduler V8.3 as well as DB2
(or supported relational databases) and the WebSphere Application
Server.
- Knowledge transfer of basic product skills such
as administration, scheduling, and operations.
- Deploy
Tivoli Workload Scheduler V8.3 with limited assistance.
- Multi-platform system skills (such as UNIX and Windows), including working
knowledge of accounts, systems, disks, and network
administration.
- Batch scheduling concepts in a
production environment.
- Experience with IBM Tivoli
Workload Scheduler.
